Who can forget the great weather we had last year at North Bend?... if you remember last year, it was scorching hot and dry all summer long. Somehow we pulled out a cloudy and cool day. North Bend may be a relatively flat course but it's got a great layout and it's just outside of Fremont. It's a short drive from Omaha, they treat us very well and are very accommodating. And from what I'm told the clubhouse is newly remodeled.
Last year we incorporated a deadline when signing up for the scrambles, the deadline to sign up this month will be June 22nd (no deadline was implemented in May). But in June we have to get our applications in; if you want to play.
A little reminder: if you're thinking about signing up, reserve your spot by sending me your application (and money) or by paying up online. It's really not considered "signing up" if you talk about playing but never send me anything. That's especially important if you're trying to get a team together... because I'm always trying to pair people up to form teams. Also, I'll never cash checks before any of the scramble events.
