The Man and Woman of the Year awards were presented and club officers were elected at the Omaha Sports Club Annual Affair, held September 11 at the DC Centre.
The club’s largest social event of the year kicked off at 5 p.m. with a happy hour featuring free hors d'oeuvres, wine and beer. A short business meeting followed at 8 p.m. during which the nominating committee announced the club's new executive officers who were elected earlier that evening.
Lois Dorn was re-elected to her second term as president, while Karen Obermeier returned to the board as vice president. Longtime club member Deb Davidson was elected as secretary, and Pat Martinson was re-elected as treasurer.
The Man and Woman of the Year awards were awarded to Jim Graves and Deb Davidson. Both were recognized for their lengthy and ongoing contributions to the club.
The night was capped off with three hours of live music and dancing with Omaha’s premier band "Rough Cut." See how you looked with your friends at this year's annual affair by going to the OSC's web site and look at the photo album on the Annual Affair page under Social.
