After all of the snow that has fallen on Omaha this year, I do not think anyone wants to go to Lake Tahoe and see more of the beautiful white stuff. So, I have readjusted my planning and have arranged for a trip in the other direction – to warm Orlando, Fla.

My plan is to fly from Omaha to Orlando on March 5 and to return to Omaha on March 9. We will stay at the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa. This is a resort with two, three and four bedroom units and it is a beautiful property that is close to everything.

This trip costs $368 per person, with four people sharing a two-bedroom unit. The trip includes airfare and four nights lodging. A rental car will add about $50 per person.

Please go to
www.lbvorlandoresort.com to check out this resort. Disney World and Universal Studios are both close and a shuttle service is available. Many golf courses are close, too. Continental Airlines charges $20 for the first bag. So if you take golf clubs, it will cost you an additional $40.

I have received pricing on a trip in November to the Dominican Republic, but I am working on the airfare. If you have any interest in this trip, send me an email and I will keep you updated.

Thanks,

Len Wieck
