Hello friends and fun seekers,
I am now the OSC excursions chairman and am excited about the things we can do as an organization.
In the past, I have joined others from OSC to go to places and take cruises. OSC has traveled to Mexico and Jamaica; we have taken cruises to the Caribbean, and have taken shorter drive trips to the Black Hills and Branson.
I would like to expand this program and hope to offer a trip a month for OSC members. These trips will be varied, so as to give many people the opportunity to go where they want to go. Some trips will be shorter, such as 3 to 4 day driving trips to the Black Hills or Branson. Others will be short fly away trips to Orlando, San Antonio, Nashville or Las Vegas.
I will consider possible cruises again for Alaska or the Caribbean. I am looking at tropical locations such as Belize or Costa Rica. I may even offer European trips or Hawaii if the deal is right. I am even considering a trip early next year to the Reno/Tahoe area for gambling, skiing and the national bowling finals. We will offer trips for the golfer and trips for the hikers and people who like more adventure. Some trips will be limited to a few people and some will allow more to participate.
Each month, I will have some kind of an excursion. If space is limited, it will be filled by the earliest registrants. I hope to be able to create a six-month calendar to make planning easier.
