OSC - Happy Hour

Omaha Sports Club Happy Hours are a great way to unwind on a Friday night. Scheduled twice monthly, OSC members gather after work at a local establishment for food, drink and fun.  Look for Happy Hour info updates in our regular "Whats Happening" emails.

Please drink responsibly and be a generous tipper!

OSC - Happy Hour News

A lot of people are confused about the Omaha Sports Club Happy Hours. It used to be that we would have a happy hour on the second Friday of the month. When I decided to take over happy hour, the format changed. So please, check your OSC calendar.

Also, I have created a Twitter page (if anyone wants to Twitter OSCHappyHour).

For those who are waiting for the happy hour report this month: Millard Roadhouse was a huge success. They couldn't provide us with enough tables in the gaming room for our crowd. Two weeks later, we visited the Corkscrew Wine and Cheese in Rockbrook, which is always a great place for the wine drinkers.

In February, the second Friday of the month (on the 11th), how about going to Sean O'Casey's on 107th & Q streets? It'll be close for the bowlers. Someone once told me that alcohol increases a bowler’s aim (or was it increases the handicap?). Drink costs $2.50 for domestic draws and $3.50 for import draws. It's only a 6-minute drive (Google maps) for the bowlers and it starts at 4:30 p.m.

Later in February, the fourth Friday of the month (on the 25th), we’ll do something different at The Brass Monkey, a bar that has more craft beers than the Crescent Moon. It's on 36th and V streets, down the street from St. Peter & Paul. There’s lots of parking and it's really nice inside; a great neighborhood bar. (Across from Mr. Butts). Drinks are $2 for domestic draws, $6 for domestic pitchers and $3 for craft pints. It's a 15-minute drive for the bowlers (Google maps) and it starts at 4:30 p.m. (please note cash only).
