We had two great Happy Hours last month: Ryan's Bistro and the Rusty Rooster. Sorry I couldn't make it. I had to golf. Thanks to Tim, Rita and Phil; I heard it was a great time and I owe you one.
This month, we have two old time favorites (no, not the hosts). On Friday, August 12 (the day after the Omaha Sports Club board appreciation dinner), Bob Grinstead will be our first guest Happy Hour host at Tiger Tom's, 7103 Military Ave.
Tiger Tom's has been a sponsor of the Sports Club roster for many years and a very strong supporter. Bob has arranged for free popcorn and drawings for Tiger Tom T-shirts. And, Bob always works up a deal for some great Happy Hour prices. It's a 4.2 mile drive for you golfers and it shouldn't take longer than 12 minutes.
Then on Friday, August 26, we will have Happy Hour at another old time favorite, Clancy's Pub, 7128 Pacific St. (please ask if they want to be a sponsor) . Come join our second guest host, Deb Davidson. (Will this be the last Friday of the Elmwood golf league?). Special: $1 off all drinks during Happy Hour. It's a 0.7 mile drive for you golfers and it shouldn't take longer than two minutes to get there.
Each Happy Hour begins from 4:30 to 5 p.m.
