I recall reading in several articles lately that Nebraska in general and Omaha in particular has a great history of people who step up to the plate and volunteer their time to help worthy causes. One only needs to look at the College World Series or the Nationwide Cox Classic golf tour to see shining examples of that here in Omaha.
The Omaha Sports Club is now asking for you to show those same great traits and volunteer your time for our club. We need people to volunteer to run for office, represent activities and sports at the monthly board meetings, and help existing chair people with their duties in keeping all the sports and activities going that you enjoy. Please give serious consideration to giving a little of your precious time to helping keep this club functioning, since without officers and board members the existence of the organization is in jeopardy.
