Happy Spring to all Sports Club Members!
I’m sure all of us are ready for nice weather to finally arrive so we can get outside and participate in all the outdoor activities the club offers. I know there are several golf courses calling my name…!
I have been told I’m not the most computer savvy person in town, but I have to tell you how much I am enjoying the Omaha Sports Club’s new and improved web site. I really like the look of it, and navigating around to the different sports and other pages seems much easier and more logical to me. I hope all members take some time to check it out. This site will allow us to keep all our members current on what is going on in the club in a much timelier fashion. Make this site your “go to” place for the latest news! Thanks to everyone who helped get this project up and running, and who help keep it up-to-date.
I would also like to encourage everyone to give some thought to giving back to your club by volunteering to run for office or offering to help an existing board member with their sport or activity. Since all activities in the club are operated by volunteers, we depend on you to help keep your favorite sport or activity operating. In addition to looking for volunteers to run for the executive board positions, we are looking for someone to assist with taking pictures of the various sports and activities that can be placed on the web site or into the Sportscaster each month. Please let me know if you are willing to help out and keep the Omaha Sports Club the great club it is!
