There was not a better way to spend a Sunday then with seven different chilis, sloppy joes, football and Texas Hold Em.
A relaxing afternoon was had by those who attended the OSC Beer and Chili Contest on November 15 at Dinker’s Bar and Grill. Nobody went home hungry. We ate, played cards, watched football and ate some more.
All the chilis tasted great; glad I didn’t have to judge. Chili contest winners were first place: Bob Godek; second place: Barb Coleman; and third place: Deb Emery. Texas Hold Em winners were first place: Brad McGill, second place: Joe Martinez; and third place: Deb Davidson.
Thank you to everyone who shared their favorite chili recipes and everyone that came and ate. A special thank you to Susan Bertrand and Brad McGill for running the Texas Hold Em Tournament.
