Have fun and exercise at the same time. Join us for a scenic bike ride to Lake Manawa on Saturday, September 12, at 10 a.m.
We will start at the Western Historic Trails Center. Take I-80 to Council Bluffs. Then take the 24th Street exit and drive south about 1/2 block. Turn into park entrance OR take next right (Richard Downing Avenue) for about 3 to 4 blocks to Center entrance. We will meet in the Historic Trail Center parking lot (NOT the soccer field lots).
We will ride to Lake Manawa and beyond to the Wabash Trail head. You can ride further on the trail if you want a longer ride, but most of us will use the trail head for a turnaround point.
It's a pretty ride, nice and flat.
