Enjoy a scenic spring bike ride on the Western Hills Trails beginning at noon on Saturday, May 21. We'll meet at the Western Hills Trails Center, 3434 Richard Downing Ave., Council Bluffs, Iowa.
To get there, take I-80 over the Missouri River and turn onto the 24th Street exit (Horseshoe Casino exit). Drive south to Richard Downing Avenue and turn right (west). Drive past the soccer field to the trails center entrance on right.
We will bike through Lake Manawa Park and continue to the Wabash Trace trailhead and return the same way. It is a very pretty and easy ride. Plus, it is a lot of fun.
