In an effort to conserve trees, I am going to email the team and individual recap sheets to the email address I have on file. Paper handouts at the banquet will be minimized.
The final standings are included in this article, along with the USBC Awards for this year and financial report. There are a few coins to be picked up, so I hope everyone makes plans to attend the banquet at Johnny Sortino's beginning at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 3. I don't want to ride around all summer with these envelopes in the trunk of my car hoping to run into you at golf!
This seemed like a long season with taking off at Christmas and then having a snow day but one of the items on the agenda at the banquet will be next year's schedule with both Christmas and New Year's on a Friday (and as someone pointed out to me last night, next year will have the "eve's" on Friday!).
Hope to see you at golf or one of the many club activities. We have two teams of ladies playing in the State Bowling Tournament - Kelley's North on May 15 at 7 p.m. and Elkhorn Lanes (the old house) on May 17 at 8 a.m. We have had some pretty good payouts in past years and I hope the trend continues.
