From that roster, five bowlers bowl each week, which allows bowlers to have the option of being on a rotating schedule to be determined by the team captain.  Bowling is "pay per play" - pay $12 only on the nights you bowl. Lanes are turned on for practice at 6:15 p.m. and league play starts promptly at 6:30 p.m. Bowling should end no later than 9:45 p.m.

If you are interested in bowling with the Omaha Sports Club, please contact Darlene Zauss or send an e-mail to bowling@omahasportsclub.com.  Let's knock down some pins and have fun!

Included are the standings as of March 27. Bowling ends April 24.  The banquet is scheduled for May 3 at Johnny Sortino's beginning at 4 p.m.  Please plan to attend to pick up awards and winnings.

Please remember that league bowling should be completed by 10 p.m. so the house may begin cosmic bowling.  As a reminder:

  • Exercise "right of way" courtesy when two bowlers approach adjoining lanes at the same time.
  • Stay off the approach when another individual is on the approach and bowling to your right or left.
  • Be sure you are prepared to bowl when your name is highlighted to bowl.  Please do not wait for your counterpart on the opposing team to also have their name highlighted as this can slow play.
