The Omaha Sports Club has two dart leagues: A large, friendly, social 501 league on Sunday nights and a slightly more competitive and more intimate cricket league on Monday nights.

Both leagues are drafted leagues, and we try to ensure good competition. Players are ranked into four skill levels, and each team is made up of a player from each level. For more information, email Randy Smith at darts@omahasportsclub.com.

As we wind down the current session of darts, we would like to publicize
some items we found interesting.  The 301 league playing at Chrome (84 &
Park Drive) Sunday evenings, has 10 teams (40 players) in it.  We have
several newcomers to darts, as well as many seasoned players.  Items of
note:  Dawn Bailey had the first high ton of the season.  For those who
do not know, a high ton is a score in excess of 150 points in one round.
Diana Haye had the first hat trick of the season (3 darts in the
bullseye in one round).  Mark Kiihne has the only 6 dart out of the
session. While Team Volquardson has refused to relinquish their lead so
far, Randy has had to settle for being in second in the individual 301
   standings for now.

Our Monday night Cricket league currently has 8 teams (32 players)
playing at Chrome on Monday evenings.  Team Volquardson has a commanding
lead in the team standings.  Randy Volquardson and Mark Kiihne have been
battling it out for the top spot in the individual standings.

The dart banquet will be held at 6:30 Sunday April 26 at Chrome.  There
will a a tournament at the banquet and the presentation of prizes to the
winners.  We hope to have details regarding summer darts at the banquet
   and in the next Sportscaster.
