Want to have fun with friends in the sun and sand? Come join us in the spring and summer for sand volleyball. We play mid-April through August, 6:30 Thursdays nights at Winchester, 70th and Q streets. It's definitely not 'bar league' action. This is competitive play: bump, set, spike, blocking. Plans are in the works for Omaha Sports Club's Spring/Summer 2010 Sand Volleyball leagues. Details are being finalized for a late April start at Winchester's, 70th and Q Sts., across from Fun-Plex.
Team applications will be available online and in the Sportscaster on or around March 1. Meanwhile, don't hesitate to begin building your team.
