Volleyball

OSC volleyball strives to create a fun atmosphere where one can make new friends, enjoy old friends and have a great time playing volleyball year round. We have six coed leagues of different skill levels (AA, A, BB, B, B1, B2), three women's leagues (A, BB, B), and two men's leagues (A & B).

Fall and Spring coed league teams & mens league teams are compiled via a draft, while the women's leagues are team signups. The Summer session is coed only and is also team signup. All levels of players are able to play.

Women's B League Scores Exciting

We had another fun and competitive season in Womens B Volleyball at Westside  Community Center.
 
The top five teams of Jo Anderson, Tracy Niemeyer, Dee Haynie, Sarah Trader and Summer Hospodka were close all season.  The other teams of Julie Seybold, Sally Buchholz, Marcia Schrad and Kim Hodges were competitive as well, and had lots of fun.
 
We had a new team of single players that wanted to get into womens volleyball. They struggled in the beginning but got the hang of things and became competitive towards the end. I hope they had fun and will join us again in the fall.
 
The winner of the league came down to the last night and last game of play. Jo Anderson and Tracy Niemeyer's team were two games apart on the last night of play. Jo Anderson's team ended up winning the league by one game. They won OSC T-Shirts for first place.
 
Hope to see everyone in the fall!
