Our June scramble is scheduled for Highlands Golf Course in Lincoln.

We’ll play a tee-times format starting at 1:00PM (we get a price break then) and a Hamburger / Brat luncheon side dish afterwards. (as teams finish they’ll be able to eat right away). So when you sign up in the store you can request an EARLY tee time or a LATE tee time and we’ll work to fill to the middle.

One hour slot 1:00PM to 2:00PM for 9 Groups but we can add more...

Cost will be $57 per person and like before guests are welcome to join us for $63. (one guest per member only).

After everyone finishes lunch we can move on to handing out prizes.

It was a shame that our May scramble was rained out, turned out to be a great day (stupid forecast)… I’ve always wanted to re-visit some of the golf courses that we’ve played in the past (Northridge was one of them) although with a smaller scramble group it’ll be different. Years ago (like I always say) our scramble group was 16-20 foursomes… but our numbers lately show 8-10. It’s difficult to get discount prices and special treatment with a smaller group but we have to keep trying. 

I think the golf courses in Lincoln can provide a variety of golf courses and somewhat closer to Omaha than Red Oak or Beemer. The issue will be conforming to playing tee-times format (over shotgun start which we are used to). With a larger group it was easy to say “16-18 foursomes” and ask to close the golf course. But when there’s 8-10 foursomes you have less weight to push with.

Northridge GC would have closed for us but now we'll venture into playing a couple of 18-hole courses.
