It is time to plan your fall softball activities so if you are interested and available on Sunday evenings, please see below.
Omaha Sports Club ( www.omahasportsclub.com ) has Sunday night coed softball that will start August 29th for 7 weeks and will be played at Kelley Field on 124th and Fort Street. We normally do not play on Labor Day weekend but should be playing all other Sundays. Game start times range from 6:00 to 9:00pm. The price to play will be $40 (application deadline July 31st) or $50 (application deadline August 15th) which covers the league fees, softballs, umpires fees, and a small softball team party at end of season. The plans are to have 6 males and 6 females on each team. If there is more than one team, players are placed on a team based on skill levels to best balance the teams for best team competition. If you want to play now is the time to reserve your spot by getting your softball application in. Go to omahasportsclub.com and register by purchasing the Softball sport in the Store. A mail-in Softball application can also be found on the website but it is best to purchase in the OSC store for quickest registration. Teams will be filled on a First Come First Served Basis and you will be notified via email of start date/times once the schedule is finalized.
